FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. — In a unique twist that blends the chill of winter with the warmth of summer, Arizona Snowbowl will host a dual-season celebration over Memorial Day weekend and the following weekend (May 23–26 and May 31–June 1). For the first time ever, the resort will offer spring skiing alongside its popular summer attractions.
Extended Spring Skiing Season
Thanks to substantial late-season snowfall and the efforts of snowmaking and grooming crews, Snowbowl is extending its ski season into June. During the bonus weekends, the Arizona Gondola will operate exclusively, providing access to advanced terrain only. Skiers can hit the slopes one last time before the full summer season takes over.
Scenic Gondola Rides Highlight Northern Arizona Views
For guests looking to take in the natural beauty without skis, Scenic Gondola Rides will be available throughout both weekends. Riders can disembark at the summit to enjoy sweeping views of Northern Arizona’s high-elevation landscapes. The experience is ideal for families, casual tourists, and anyone eager to enjoy the mountain from a new perspective.
Summer Attractions Return
Snowbowl’s popular summer activities will also return during the bonus weekends. Visitors can enjoy the Summer Tubing Hill, Bungee Trampoline, and Rock Climbing Wall — perfect for post-ski adventures or standalone family outings.
Food, Drinks, and Live Music at Agassiz Restaurant
After a day on the slopes or trails, guests can relax at Agassiz Restaurant & 9500′ Bar. The venue will serve up refreshments and scenic patio dining. Live music will be featured on select days, adding to the festive mountain atmosphere.
Daily Summer Operations Begin June 6
Following these special weekends, Snowbowl’s full slate of summer operations — including daily Scenic Gondola Rides, Summer Activities, and Sunset Gondola Rides — will officially launch on Friday, June 6.
Whether you’re drawn by snowy slopes, sunny activities, or stunning views, Arizona Snowbowl promises a rare opportunity to experience both seasons in one visit.
