North Vancouver resort launches the region’s first lift-accessed mountain bike park with trails for all skill levels.
A new mountain bike park will open at Grouse Mountain on Friday, June 6, offering riders a fresh destination with scenic views and trails for every ability level.
Located at the popular alpine resort in North Vancouver, Grouse Bike Park will be the first in the area to offer lift-accessed mountain biking. Visitors can ride to the top using the Blue Grouse Gondola, which began operating in December for winter sports.
The bike park, designed by internationally recognized trail builder Gravity Logic, adds a new option for outdoor adventure on the mountain. According to Grouse Mountain Resort, the park will feature a mix of trails, including beginner green and blue flow lines, a blue jump line, and more technical single-black trails.
A challenging double-black single track will open later in June. A single-black jump line is expected to follow later this summer. All trails are accessible by lift, removing the need for uphill climbs and making it the only park of its kind on the North Shore.
Michael Cameron, president of Grouse Mountain Resort, said the bike park is a natural expansion for the resort. “The trails at Grouse Bike Park cater to riders of all skill levels,” he said. “We’re excited to support the growing biking community and add to the world-class trail network already on the North Shore.”
Cameron added that the park’s location and setup make it ideal for after-work rides and youth summer camps. “Grouse Mountain’s views, the Screaming Eagle chairlift, and our convenient location make this park perfect for everything from quick evening rides to full-day outings,” he said.
Season passes for Grouse Bike Park are now on sale. Until Saturday, May 11, riders can save 20 per cent. Discounted prices are $399 for adults, $339 for youth (ages 13–18) and seniors (65+), and $299 for children.
