Grouse Mountain is set to open its highly anticipated bike park on June 6, 2025. The park will offer a range of trails for cyclists of all skill levels, attracting outdoor enthusiasts to the Peak of Vancouver.
The Grouse Bike Park will be the North Shore’s first chairlift-accessed mountain bike park. This development is part of a $9 million investment by Grouse Mountain to expand its year-round offerings, which was first announced last summer.
“The growing popularity of mountain biking in the Lower Mainland, combined with our existing infrastructure and terrain, makes the Grouse Bike Park a natural addition as we enhance the guest experience,” said Michael Cameron, President of Grouse Mountain Resort, in a statement.
The bike park will feature nearly 10 kilometers of trails, including beginner-friendly flow trails, as well as more challenging options for intermediate and expert riders. The park will offer a variety of trails, including a blue jump line, technical single black trails, and a double black single track. A single black jump line is also scheduled to open later in the summer.
With a vertical drop of 900 meters, the park will include a dedicated skill zone to help riders improve their abilities.
The park’s new gondola will replace the Blue Skyride, which was built in the 1960s and has been permanently closed for decommissioning.
Season passes for the Grouse Bike Park are now available for purchase, with day passes set to be offered closer to the opening date in June.
