VERNON, B.C. — SilverStar Mountain Resort is gearing up to welcome the Crankworx Summer Series back to its bike park from August 1 to 4, bringing a high-energy lineup of world-class mountain biking events to the Okanagan.
This year’s festival will mark the return of two popular competitions: the thrilling Dual Slalom race and the Freeride Mountain Bike (FMB) Gold Level Women’s Slopestyle event, now in its second year at SilverStar.
“Crankworx is always a highlight on our calendar,” said Megan Sutherland, Communications and PR Specialist at SilverStar.
“We’re especially excited to bring back the dual slalom race and continue hosting the FMB Gold Level Women’s Slopestyle. It’s going to be something special.”
The four-day festival will feature a wide range of mountain biking competitions. Highlights include the Rheeder Slopestyle—part of both the FMB Gold Level Men’s and Women’s Slopestyle series—on a course designed by local athlete Brett Rheeder. Other events include pump track challenges, Dual Slalom races, and the BC/Canada/UCI Continental Cup Downhill competitions.
Beyond the races, Crankworx offers a celebration of biking culture. Attendees can enjoy free live music, art installations, food vendors, and family-friendly entertainment throughout the weekend.
Crankworx Summer Series is known for bringing together elite athletes, amateur riders, and fans from around the world.
The return of the event to SilverStar highlights the resort’s growing reputation as a hub for mountain biking in British Columbia.
