OSLO, NORWAY – Rising Norwegian cross-country skier Amund Riege has officially joined Team Aker Dæhlie after a successful run with Team Ramudden. The 24-year-old made headlines last season with major victories at the Engadin La Diagonela and the Bad Gastein Criterium, positioning himself as one of the most promising athletes on the Ski Classics long-distance circuit.
Riege’s move comes after three strong seasons with Team Ramudden. His decision to join Aker Dæhlie is seen as a major gain for the team, which is building a strong roster of top-tier skiers.
Team Aker Dæhlie manager Jarle Wermskog praised the signing, calling Riege a crucial addition to the squad.
“We are very proud and happy to welcome Amund. He’s young, ambitious, and already proven he can win on the circuit,” Wermskog told Langrenn. “He’s a strong competitor and a serious contender for multiple victories, including the Best Young Skier title.”
Riege also spoke to Langrenn about the move, expressing enthusiasm for the team and its future.

With his eyes on the top of the Ski Classics podiums, Riege’s addition strengthens Aker Dæhlie’s ambitions heading into the new season.
