Three courageous care workers from Kings Park Care Home in Ferndown are preparing to take a leap of faith to raise funds for Lewis-Manning Hospice Care. On Saturday, June 14, Stephanie Reed, Angela Cawsey, and Jane Shanahan will skydive at Old Sarum in Salisbury to support the local charity.

Lewis-Manning Hospice Care provides vital free services to individuals and families facing life-limiting illnesses across Dorset. The charity holds a special place in the hearts of Kings Park’s staff, residents, and community. Many have personal connections to the hospice, whether through their own experiences or through supporting loved ones during illness or bereavement.

The trio hopes to raise £1,500 to help Lewis-Manning continue its essential work, providing care and comfort when it is needed most.

They’re determined to raise as much money as possible for our friends at Lewis-Manning Hospice Care. While we think they’re a bit crazy for jumping out of a plane, we deeply admire their courage. Everyone here at Kings Park is fully behind them and supporting them every step of the way.”
