ST. ALBANS — Rob’s Riders, a youth mountain biking camp dedicated to the memory of Rob Connerty, will take place from July 14 to 18 at the Collins Perley Sports Complex. The camp runs daily from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and is open to children ages 7 to 12. Registration costs $80, with scholarships available to ensure all interested participants can attend.
Organized in collaboration with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Stowe Trails Partnership, and the Franklin County Mountain Bike Club, the camp aims to foster both physical development and personal growth. Campers will take part in games, biking drills, coaching sessions, snack breaks, and group discussions each morning.
“Rob’s Riders is a time of inspiration, perspiration and fun,” said Susan Connerty. “The goal is to help children reach their full potential through a mix of dynamic athletic training and spiritual growth.”
The camp honors Rob Connerty, an avid supporter of youth and outdoor sports. Connerty served on the boards of both the FCA and Stowe Trails Partnership and was known for his passion for mentoring young people through recreation and faith.
Rob’s Riders continues his legacy by creating a supportive environment where children can grow in confidence, athletic skill, and character.
