PINE MOUNTAIN, Ga. — Whitney McLintock Rini, five-time world champion from Cambridge, returns to the Masters Water Ski and Wakeboard Tournament, set for May 23-25 at Robin Lake in Callaway Gardens. Rini, a past Masters champion, will compete alongside a strong Canadian team at the 65th Masters and the 32nd Junior Masters tournaments.
Rini’s impressive career includes five world titles and 13 Pan American Games medals, with four golds and ten silvers. This year, she is joined by her step-daughter Paige (Rini) Pigozzi, who placed third in last year’s women’s slalom event.
The Masters is widely regarded as the premier watersports event globally. Since its inception in 1959, it has offered athletes and fans an exceptional experience. The tournament takes place around Robin Lake, featuring a pavilion in the center that provides spectators with stunning views of the action from all sides. Enthusiastic crowds gather on the beach and throughout the venue to support the world’s top water skiers and wakeboarders.
Canadian Athletes Competing
Junior Masters:
Kate Pinsonneault (BC): Competing in Junior Women’s Slalom and Junior Women’s Jump. This marks her third and final appearance at the event.
Masters:
Charlie Ross (ON): Fresh off his win at the 2025 Nautique Moomba Masters, Ross holds the U21 Men’s Slalom World Record and is a two-time Junior Masters champion.
Cole McCormick (ON): Defending Masters champion, aiming to retain his title in Men’s Slalom.
Women’s Slalom:
Jaimee Bull (ON): Two-time reigning world champion and former Masters champion.
Neilly Ross (ON): Last year’s silver medalist in Women’s Slalom and Women’s Trick, and a past Masters champion.
Paige (Rini) Pigozzi (ON): Third-place finisher in last year’s Women’s Slalom.
Whitney Rini (ON): Former Masters champion in Women’s Slalom and Women’s Trick.
Canadian athletes make up half of the Women’s Slalom field, with four of the eight competitors hailing from Canada.

Dorien Llewellyn (AB): Two-time Pan Am Games gold medalist in Men’s Overall and 2021 World Champion in Men’s Trick.

Neilly Ross (ON): Former Masters champion competing in both Women’s Slalom and Trick.
Olivia Chute (NS): First-time Masters qualifier with previous podium finishes in Junior Girls Trick.
Paige (Rini) Pigozzi (ON): Competing in both Women’s Slalom and Trick.
Men’s Jump:
Ryan Dodd (AB): Five-time world champion and current world record holder in Men’s Jump, as well as a multiple-time Masters champion.
