Jan Juc, VIC/AUS (Sunday, January 12, 2025):
The 2025 No TXT No Wrecks Victorian Junior Surfing Titles will wrap up this weekend, with the third and final round taking place at Phillip Island.
More than 80 young surfers from across Victoria are set to compete for six state titles in the last leg of the series. The event has already visited iconic surf spots at Bells Beach and Gunnamatta, and now heads to one of the state’s most celebrated surfing destinations.
“We’re thrilled to host the final round on Phillip Island,” organisers said. “It’s home to the annual Rip Curl GromSearch and has hosted Australian Titles in the past, making it an ideal venue to finalise the Victorian State Team and crown our champions.”
“The island offers world-class waves, and we’re excited to see the top junior surfers battle it out for the titles.”
Among the standout competitors are Ava Holland (U18 Girls, Mornington Peninsula), Jarvis Barrow (U18 Boys, Jan Juc), Kato Mogi (U16 Boys, Jan Juc), Chloe Muscroft (U16 Girls, Jan Juc), Estella Carbonelli (U14 Girls, Jan Juc), and Dusty Rayner (U14 Boys, Inverloch).
Competition will kick off at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, with the first call to be made at Smiths Beach. The event is scheduled to conclude on Sunday afternoon.
