Copper Mountain’s summer snow season is now underway, offering skiers and snowboarders several ways to stay sharp even after the winter season ends in Colorado.
Although the traditional winter ski season has wrapped up, the summer snow options at Copper Mountain are just beginning. The highlight is the Summer Hike Park, the only on-snow terrain park open during summer in the state.
The park features over 30 feet of snow piled high and offers about a dozen features where riders can practice and improve their skills while others are off the slopes for the season.
The Summer Hike Park operates from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Fridays through Sundays, running through September 7th, weather permitting. Day passes cost $25, while summer season passes are available for $199.
In addition, the Woodward Summer Rail Jam Series is continuing this summer, giving athletes aged 10 and older the opportunity to compete and show off their tricks. Upcoming rail jam events are scheduled for July 4th and September 5th.
