Hoi An, a UNESCO World Heritage site in central Vietnam, has introduced an adventurous new tourism experience allowing visitors to view its historic old town from the sky. The newly launched “Fly Over the Heritage” tour offers paragliding trips above the Thu Bon River and iconic landmarks.
Organized by Hoi An Memories Land, the tour includes a 15- to 20-minute flight in a motorized parachute, accompanied by a certified instructor. Participants will enjoy sweeping aerial views of Hoi An Ancient Town, located in Quang Nam Province.
Flights begin daily at 1:00 p.m. and continue until 2:00 p.m., starting June 1. The tour is priced at VND2 million (approximately US$77) per person and operates depending on weather conditions.
Eligible participants must be between 12 and 65 years old. The package includes insurance, safety equipment, and a video recording of the flight. Paragliders take off from Hoi An Memories Land and follow a set scenic route before landing at a designated area.
To celebrate the launch and welcome the summer tourist season, Hoi An Memories Land will hold an opening event on the evening of June 6. The celebration will feature a 600-drone light show, an updated version of the popular Hoi An Memories Show, a six-minute fireworks display, and a paragliding performance with fire effects.
Each paragliding booking also comes with a complimentary eco-class ticket to the Hoi An Memories Show, which showcases the town’s rich history and culture.
Hoi An Memories Land is a cultural and resort complex located next to the ancient town and continues to attract visitors with unique and immersive tourism experiences.
