The wait is finally over! The World Rookie Tour Skateboard 2025 is officially underway, bringing fresh energy, top-tier locations, and unforgettable experiences to skateparks worldwide.
This year, the tour adds a new country to its roster: for the first time, the event will stop in Spain, with an exciting session in Santander. Set along the ocean, Santander is ready to welcome the best young skaters and introduce the WRT spirit to Spain.
Italy also has big changes in store for 2025, with the Italian stop moving to a brand-new venue — 101 Skatepark in Cesena.
This new location promises to be a fresh playground for rising skateboarding talent.
Once again, the Black Yeti, the iconic figure of the World Rookie Tour, will travel across Europe, searching for the next skateboarding stars. The adventure kicks off in the Alps at Les Deux Alpes, France, before making its way to Italy and Spain.
The tour then heads to legendary skate spots in Scotland and Finland, followed by its first-ever stop in Bulgaria.
At both the Bulgaria and Germany stops, riders will face more than just the traditional street competitions. They’ll have the opportunity to showcase their creativity and style in thrilling bowl contests — a true test for all-around skaters. The tour continues with another stop in Bulgaria, before moving through Hungary and Greece, where the skateboarding scene continues to grow.
The journey will conclude at the Grand Finals in Slovenia, from September 27 to 29, 2025. Here, the top rookies and groms will compete not only in the street competition but also in bowl contests, vying for glory, memorable experiences, and incredible prizes.
As always, the World Rookie Tour is more than just a contest. Riders who place on the podium at each stop will secure a spot in the finals. Additionally, All-Inclusive Tickets for the finals in Slovenia will be awarded at each event, giving even more skaters the chance to experience the WRT to the fullest.
