Monster Energy has officially announced the return of its popular Backyard Battle (BYB) Mountain Bike Series for 2025. Now in its third year, the series will run from June through August, showcasing some of the world’s top freeriders and slopestyle athletes at unique venues across the UK and Europe.

Event Schedule and Highlights

Wales, UK – “Gnomes Edition” (June 10–15)

Hosted by Vero Sandler and Sam Hodgson, the “Gnomes Edition” returns for a second year. Known for its quirky creativity, this stop promises fresh course elements and big tricks. A public ride session is scheduled for June 14 at Revolution Bikepark, giving fans a chance to hit the trails with the BYB crew.

Unterstinkenbrunn & Innsbruck, Austria – “Ruso Bros & C-Dog Edition” (June 23–29)

This year marks the first BYB bus tour, beginning in Unterstinkenbrunn and traveling to Bikepark Innsbruck. Hosts Ruso Brothers and Clemens Kaudela will lead the action, with the public invited to attend a two-day event in Mutters on June 27–28. Activities will include a Best Trick contest, Whip Off, the intense Ring of Fire session, and an afterparty.

Bannes, France – “Couderc Edition” (July 15–19)

Hosted by Paul Couderc, this stop brings together freeride and slopestyle in the scenic French countryside. Riders will tackle a massive backyard setup known for its technical features and creative lines. Expect an electric atmosphere and standout performances.

Boppard, Germany – “Black Mass Edition” (July 29–August 3)

Lukas Schäfer will host the German leg of the series on a tailor-made course designed to blend smooth flow with high-flying sends. A public jam day will take place on August 2 at Bikepark Boppard, inviting fans to ride and watch top-level talent in action.

Barcelona, Spain – “Loco Camp Edition” (August 26–30)

The final stop lands in Spain with host Adolf Silva, known for his bold style and innovative course builds. Set in what many call a biking paradise, this closing event promises fresh features and intense riding at Silva’s Ride Loco compound.
