MARQUETTE, Mich. — Marquette Mountain Resort is preparing for the summer season with the opening of its bike park this weekend.
Starting Saturday at 10 a.m., cyclists can take advantage of lift access for biking or hiking. The resort is currently offering day passes and summer season passes for visitors.
Kaet Johnson, the resort’s general manager, said they are focused on expanding activities throughout the year.
“We are transitioning into a year-round outdoor recreation center,” Johnson said. “Having people here during the summer is very important to us. Offering outdoor activities like volleyball leagues, disc golf, and downhill mountain biking makes summer at the resort really exciting.”
With these additions, Marquette Mountain Resort aims to become a popular destination beyond the winter months.
