MARGARET RIVER, AUSTRALIA — As the 2025 Margaret River Pro moves into the semifinal stage, surf fans could witness a rare showdown between two American brothers on one of the sport’s biggest stages.

Griffin and Crosby Colapinto, both competing on the World Surf League (WSL) Championship Tour, are on track to meet in the finals—if each can win their upcoming semifinal heats. The Margaret River Pro, held in Western Australia, is the seventh stop on this year’s WSL Tour.
