Just days before its annual price hike, Vail Resorts announced the addition of six major Austrian ski resorts to its 2025–26 Epic Pass lineup. The new resorts—Sölden and Silvretta Montafon—were unveiled on May 25 and May 23, respectively, following earlier announcements of Saalbach, Zell am See-Kaprun, Mayrhofen, and Hintertux.

These additions strengthen the Epic Pass’s presence in the Alps, joining Austria’s Ski Arlberg, which was already part of the network. Sölden, located in the Ötztal Valley of Tyrol, is famous for glacier skiing, lively mountain events, and hosting the annual FIS Alpine World Cup Opening each October. Silvretta Montafon in Vorarlberg offers challenging terrain and freeride zones, and will host the FIS Freestyle World Championships in 2027. Hintertux is a glacier resort known for year-round skiing and snowboarding.

Each new Austrian resort provides Epic Pass holders with five days of access and showcases a unique mix of alpine sports, culture, and scenery. This expansion boosts Vail Resorts’ international appeal and highlights its goal to offer travelers more variety and flexibility with a single pass.

For Australian skiers and snowboarders, all six new Austrian resorts are included in the 2025 Epic Australia Pass, according to Vail Resorts’ Australian website. This makes the pass more valuable for Southern Hemisphere riders planning trips to the Northern Hemisphere. The Australian Epic Pass currently costs AUD 1,229 (about $802 USD) for adults, with prices set to increase on May 28. After this date, the 2025 pass will no longer be available.

The American Epic Pass is priced at $1,051 USD for adults and $537 USD for children. The lowest prices are available only through Monday, May 26. This deadline also marks the last chance to claim perks like two Buddy Tickets (offering up to 45% off lift tickets), six Ski With a Friend tickets, and the option to secure a pass with just $49 down.

With these latest additions, the Epic Pass now grants access to 34 resorts across 10 European ski areas, along with unlimited access to 37 North American resorts, including Whistler Blackcomb, Vail, Breckenridge, and Park City. For international skiers and riders, the pass offers unmatched value and variety—if purchased before the May 26 deadline.
