Hong Kong’s Ocean Park is set to expand its offerings with a new adventure zone featuring zip lines and bungee jumping, expected to open in 2028. The HK$352 million project aims to attract both local thrill-seekers and international tourists.
The 120,000-square-metre development will be created through a partnership between Shun Tak Holdings and AJ Hackett International, a global adventure tourism company. The site will feature two bungee jumping platforms, giant swing rides, and zip lines stretching approximately one kilometre each.
Ocean Park Chairman Paulo Pong Kin-yee shared the news on Thursday, expressing hopes that the new zone will appeal to adventure lovers and broaden the park’s appeal. “We hope the adventure zone will attract guests and families who love adventure,” Pong said. “It will bring new and different outdoor experiences to Hong Kong residents and tourists from around the world.”
The planned expansion is part of Ocean Park’s long-term strategy to reinvent itself as a hub for nature, conservation, and adventure tourism.
