Škoda has been confirmed as the official partner for the 2025 and 2026 Mountain Biking World Championships under a new two-year agreement with the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI).
According to the official announcement, the Czech carmaker will supply official vehicles for both events. The focus will be on Škoda’s electric and hybrid models, aligning with its push for sustainability.
The partnership will cover the 2025 World Championships in Valais, Switzerland, and the 2026 edition in Val di Sole, Italy.
UCI President David Lappartient welcomed the collaboration, saying: “Škoda is a brand that promotes sustainability and active lifestyles. Its partnership with mountain biking and gravel—both closely tied to nature—makes perfect sense.”
Škoda has a long history with the UCI and the cycling world. The company served as the official partner for the 2024 Gravel and Cyclo-cross World Championships, as well as the official vehicle supplier for the Road World Championships from 2008 to 2013. It has also been a long-time partner of the Tour de France, supporting the event for the past 22 years.
