Ralph Lauren is making waves in the snowboarding world with the release of an exclusive, high-end snowboard. The luxury brand has teamed up with Parlor, a Boston-based snowboard and ski manufacturer, to create a limited collection of snowboards priced at $1,750 each. The boards are available for purchase on the Ralph Lauren website, with only a small number produced for each design.
These boards, crafted from poplar and maple wood, are not designed for performance but rather as decorative pieces. The collaboration showcases Ralph Lauren’s deep-rooted fashion legacy, blending snowboarding culture with iconic brand motifs from the 1990s.
The snowboards are inspired by three notable Ralph Lauren collections:
The Polo Crest board, which features the logo first introduced in Ralph Lauren’s 1990s winter sports-inspired collections. Only 15 boards are available.
The P-Wing board, inspired by the 1992 Stadium collection and vintage track-and-field imagery. 25 boards were produced.
The Snow Beach board, drawing inspiration from the 1993 collection that celebrated extreme sports and street culture. 30 of these boards are up for sale.
All boards feature a sleek black base and are available on a final-sale basis. Polo Ralph Lauren is also offering a pair of skis for those looking to complete the luxury snow experience.
This move follows a trend of high-end fashion brands entering the snow sports market. Luxury labels like Louis Vuitton and Prada have also introduced snowboards, with prices reaching as high as $8,550. Prada’s Linea Rossa snowboard, made by Faction, retails for $3,750, and gained notable attention when Olympian Julia Marino used it during the 2022 Beijing Olympics. Despite a challenging performance, Marino’s success on the board helped it sell out quickly.
Shaun White’s board company, Whitespace, has also collaborated with Moncler Grenoble to create the $1,650 Montano snowboard, continuing the trend of luxury snowboarding gear.
With these premium offerings, Ralph Lauren is adding its signature blend of style and exclusivity to the snowboarding world.
